I like the way our president JZ expresses the vitality of education in our country. You can see it in his eyes that he means it.He never went to school but he encourages us to go to school. He mentioned that if we as the South Africans could get a better education, most of the country´s questions will be answered. If there´ll be many educated people in our country, will have LESS "physical" crime, unemployment, poverty and HIV/Aids.Education can be the answer to some challenges here!He is going to invest more in education, so good people, let us utilise this opportunity. If you are out of school,go back next year. You are not late. And hey!don´t see crime as the solution of life,It will never pay-off,(O SWIKA JZ)

"I would like to applaud MTG and Phalaphala FM for their job well done by remembering the great musician ever in the history of Tshivenda Music the Honorable Mr Albert Tshikundamalema Mundalamo of “Tshinoni tsho wa Sekondari ya Mukula” fame through their humanitarian gesture of erecting his tombstone as token of appreciation for his contribution on the development of Tshivenda Music. It is very sad that he died as pauper despite his good work in the music industry. It is a lesson that the upcoming musicians can learn from. Musicians should learn to manage their finances properly and stop associating themselves with the recording companies who aimed at exploiting them.

As for Mundalamo Family, I just wish if we have someone who can start where the late ended up so that we can keep his legacy alive within our family but it seems as none will follow the footsteps of the late.

"Hi there!!

I´m realy concerned about our brothers and sisters who passed grade 12, but have no finances to further their studies. My concern is about people who have more information about bursaries and do not pass it to other people. I understand we don´t owe each other anything, but we all need each other.Do you realise how many people you´ll be helping by pasting that info here? Blessed is the hand that giveth rather than the one that receives. I think its very greedy to keep to yourself that which others needs. Come on Limpopo people, why don´t we develop each other.
I AM PLEADING TO EVERYONE WHO HAS INFORMATION TO ATLEAST USE OUR NET TO INFORM OTHERS. WE ARE ONE.

I speak the blessings over everybody who will assist our society on that matter.

"I am really concerned about our town Louis Trichardt. It used to be very clean, but this has changed. I am wondering if our mayor is doing her job well. We´ve been promised that they will allocate stands for us on the fourway stop to Elim on the N1, But nothing happens. As most of people we want to buy the plain stands and build our own house. Please Ms Mayor, speed up the process, because most of the people will lose hope They don´t want to receive empty promises. This is not to say we need the stands for free, we know that we will pay for them, but we´ve been waiting since 1900. Most of the people want to stay close to town, but with this high interest rate we cannot afford to buy stands for R175 000 to R180 000. We need a reasonable price. As most people we don´t prefer to buy houses, we prefer to buy plain stand and build a house of our choice. Please we need answer regarding this from our Mayor."

Happy New Year Indeed
Looking back on the months gone by,
As a new year starts and an old one ends,
We contemplate what brought us joy,
And we think of our loved ones and our friends.
Recalling all the happy times,
Remembering how they enriched our lives
We reflect upon who really counts
As the fresh and bright new year arrives
And when I ponder those who do,
I immediately Light Up With what Zoutnet means to the community
Thanks for being one of the reasons We´ll have a Happy New Year Keep Up the Good work "

"Dear Owen,

It is fine to raise concerns but some of your concerns are not concrete. With due respect I think you need to know that every newspaper has its own style of writing news.

There is no way Mirror can please everybody because editors and journalists have different opinions. Maybe you need to be aware that sports especuially soccer is the most read news in the newspaper. I think you are not a sports man that is why you dont like it. (Just kidding on this one) But seriously, you need to respect and accept the way Miorror presnts stories.

Mirror is fine the way it is right now and I hope you dont get offended neh?

"ARTISTS ARE THE ONES TO BLAME FOR PIRACY

Dear Owen Mundalamo,

The issue of piracy is seriously killing our entertainment industry.

Owen, copyright goes a very long way and artists themselves play a major role in it.

Firstly, most artists you see in the streets are not legally distributing their music. How does the Government intervene and protect offendefs while artists are illegally selling music? Some artists distribute fake copies printed in the street. Music is censored so that children do not get exposed to strong and sexual language. I kn ow of so many insultive and sexual songs which are now sung by children. What do you thinnk of songs such as "Ke batla kuku, mphe kuku by Machance" or "Ha nka o fa o nketsetsang by Tebza le madonnga?" So you want the Government to come in and protects such songs?

The only solution is to get artists register their work before we can start crying about piracy.

Another problem is that some of the music is made and sold in Venda and not distributed nationally. How does a normal person travel from Capetown to Venda just to buy street music? People need to understand that Vhavendas are all over the country even abroad.

Artists must stop selling music froim their cars´ trunks. They are selfish in that they think if a distribution company distributes their music they(artists) will not get 100% profit.

My closing statement is that let artists face the consequences of not registering their music and that is piracy. Its just a pity that some of the artists are registered.

But you raised a very important and serious concern.

You are welcome to discuss this issue further with me.
