A new gospel artist, Flames of Fire, has made her mark in the gospel market.

She recently released her debut album, Ndi Khou Omba-Omba (Volume One). The album comprises eight gospel songs and, according to the artist, she is very happy that it is already performing well commercially.

Ms Faith Nemafhohoni started her music career at Maelula as a leading vocalist of the choir of the Assemblies of God Church.

The tracks that are impressing the critics include Dzina la yeso, Tshaphanda, Ndine runyararo, Vhonani u yeso and Tinovarumbidze.

“I know that it is very difficult to make it in this industry, but I am happy that, through the support of my fans, I am moving closer to my destination.” She said that, as a follower of God, she was overwhelmed that she could praise him through her music.

She said that with God in her personal life it was not necessary to use artificial sources such as drugs to become happy. She also added that the music industry was dying because of piracy. "There are no more music shops in town, because they cannot compete with these ruthless thieves who sell our music at next to nothing".

She said the main message of the album was repentance, hope for Christians, grace, love and the goodness of God.
