Veteran gospel star Roxley Masevhe, who retired from active music recording in 2014, has succumbed to pressure from his fans and is making a major return to the music industry.

The Roxley Masevhe Music Foundation announced in a statement this week that they have been receiving calls from die-hard fans who could not take no for answer who kept on begging him to return to the music industry.

At long last their requests have been answered. This coming Sunday (24th), artists who worked with Masevhe have organised a tribute concert to honour him. The concert takes place at the Gaba Redeeming Grace Christian Centre and will start at 16:30.

Masevhe will be celebrating his birthday on the same day, which will be followed by a live DVD recording.

An array of well-known gospel music names, some of whom are the products of Masevhe, are lined up for the celebrations. Among them are Rofhiwa Manyaga, Rejoice Mukumela, Jeremiah, Andy Masiya, Vanempha, Mercy Masakona Madzivhandila, Junior Masevhe, Mukano Masevhe, Abigail Matodzi, Mpho Nentangaheni, Mashudu and David Ramakuela.
