First album for DJ Ricoffy

DJ Black Coffee's lookalike recently released his debut album.

Not only does he look like the international acclaimed DJ Black Coffee, but he was also inspired by him to join the music industry. Emmanuel Ramaliba, known as DJ Ricoffy, "the black coffee's twin" recently released his album The year 2018.

Prior to the release of his album, he released a hit single, Days of your life, featuring Venanpha. The single was well received by local club DJs and it became a hot favourite on almost every DJ's playlist.

Ricoffy hails from Tshitereke village, outside Thohoyandou.  "I started making music back in 2010 after being inspired by Nkosinathi Maphumulo, globally known globally as DJ Black Coffee."  He said that since he had started making music his biggest challenge had always been that he was not well known, and he had no proper instruments and music equipment.

He said his proudest moment was when DJ Black Coffee retweeted a post, telling the people to "meet DJ Ricoffy."

He is also a qualified electrical engineer. People interested in his music can get his album at Thohoyandou Cash Crusaders.
