Makananise wants to inspire in her book

With the aim to motivate, guide and inspire people, Mutshidzi Angela Makananise has just released her book, Four principles to be the best.

“The four principles are: let go of the past, think positively, self-acceptance and live each day as a brand-new day.”

She said that she wanted people living their lives to the fullest, despite previous circumstances. “I wrote this book because I want to motivate people to modify their lives by transforming their mentality."

The 25-year-old from Duthuni village said the 288-page book is all about letting go of painful experiences, self-acceptance, positive mentality and living each day as a brand-new day. "Each of these aspects has sub-topics that provide details based on the principle," she said.

Her aim is to see people taking the decision to live their best life. "It will be a dream come true if this book can touch the lives of people who are struggling to live or move on and those whose life is in pieces. I am willing and ready to assist individuals in mending their hearts and putting those pieces together to make sense of their lives," she said. "If it was possible my aim would be to change people. Unfortunately, I can only encourage them to change their lives by a mindset transformation."

She explained that in her childhood she developed an enormous passion for writing. She has already attended writing workshops and participated in arts and culture writing competitions.

She aspires to write and publish more educational books. She also wants to have her own publishing company to assist upcoming authors.
She currently studies for an honours degree in community and health psychology at the University of South Africa.

Those interested in the book can phone her on 071 506 9538 or write to [email protected]. She is also available on Facebook.
