Rasy releases full length album One Love Africa

The talented Rabelani Lucky Singo, better known by his stage name of Rasy, has just finished putting the final touches on his full-length album, entitled One Love Afrika. He is delighted that he has finally managed to live up to the pleas of his fans who have been pestering him to put together an album.

One of the finest local stars who is steadily rising in the music firmament, Rasy recently represented the Vhavenda culture at the Letsaka Studios in Polokwane, where he revealed the good news about his forthcoming album.

A talented singer and producer who resides at Tshitereke village, Rasy thanked all the people who have been lending him support from the first day he started doing music. “I thank you, dear people. Without your support I am literally nothing,” he said. “I am not that kind of person who forgets his roots, and it is the reason why I am saying that I am deeply indebted to you and your support.”

Rasy started singing many years ago. He got his break when Aluwani Nemasetoni sent him to an acclaimed producer, G-Force MuAfrika, to help nourish his talent. He then refined his skills as a producer, using quality studio equipment with the help of G-Force. He witnessed his talent taking flight.

“Music is the core of my life,” he said. “Deep inside my heart there is music. It runs through my veins, teaching me to forgive, and share peace and love.”

He is known for his anthemic songs, which are Ekhaya, Vho-Ramaphosa and Mmbengeni.

Tshifhiwa Mukwevho

Tshifhiwa Given Mukwevho was born in 1984 in Madombidzha village, not far from Louis Trichardt in the Limpopo Province. After submitting articles for roughly a year for Limpopo Mirror's youth supplement, Makoya, he started writing for the main newspaper. He is a prolific writer who published his first book, titled A Traumatic Revenge in 2011. It focusses on life on the street and how to survive amidst poverty. His second book titled The Violent Gestures of Life was published in 2014.
