Meet voice-over artist M-voice

Meet one of our local voice-over artists, Zwivhuya Machaba, also known as M-voice. He is the voice behind radio commercials such as U&S Agriculture, LPD Davhana Funeral services and Netshituni Coaches.

M-voice is from Lwamondo Zwavhavhili outside Thohoyandou. His entertainment career on radio started as a presenter for Nzhelele FM. “At first, I was focused on being a radio presenter only, but then I was introduced to voice-overs just for fun, and a voice-over brand was formed. I never thought it would turn into something serious like it is now,” he said.

In 2020, he quit his job as radio presenter and started to work mainly as a voice-over artist. “It was never going to be an easy journey to start with; I was, and still am, faced with some real challenges, like getting recording equipment, which is essential for this business,” he said.

But, despite these challenges, M-voice is grateful for the support he gets, especially from his sister, Murendeni Mudau.
