Apostle Munyai uses his God-given gift to make a change

Apostle Tshifhiwa Emmanuel Munyai from Manamani village has just released his first book, titled The power of giving.

“The Holy Spirit is the one who closes the gap between us and our Heavenly Father. The Holy Spirit works in a person to accept Jesus Christ, who opens the way to the Father,” he explains.

The book endeavours to clarify the role the Holy Spirit plays in the lives of Christians and “eradicates the mysterious shadow that has veiled the Holy Spirit for many generations”.

“We were never created to take life on single-handedly, but unfortunately our inability to grow intimate with God has left us flying solo. The space between us and God leaves us in a desolate place where we succumb to loneliness and frustration. We are part of a company of modern-day Christians who believe in a disconnected God, rather than a personal Father,” Munyai says. “I’m driven by passion and the willingness to empower people. Writing a book is an expression of the powerful gift God installed in me.”

Munyai believes that everyone on the planet has a gift and that it takes courage to recognise these gifts. “The hardest part is to recognise one’s gift, but once you have done that, you need to focus on developing and shaping that talent for the benefit of yourself and your fellow human beings,” he says.

He concludes: “In this world, people enjoy different things; some enjoy music, while others enjoy reading more. That's where my courage started. I believe that God has brought me into this world to do something, and that there is a gift which He has invested in me that will help many people out there. I am very happy to see people supporting me in such a way. I only thank God.”
