House Music is alive and kicking, with new song arriving

Those who think that House Music is dead should think twice. This is the message from Mulatedzi Matshikiri, better known as GreatMan D’jango, and his friend, Shakes Mbedzi. The duo has just released a powerful House Music song, titled Ndi khou diphina. Matshikiri and Mbedzi are co-composers of the song, while Mbedzi was producer and music director on the project. The song is already available at various online digital stores across the globe.

The song encourages community members, especially the youth, not to give up on their dreams. It also encourages the public to face their personal problems head on, so that they can pave the way for a bright future.

Since hitting the shelves, the song has continuously received airplay at various radio stations around the country.

Matshikiri said he had decided to team up with Mbedzi because he was a gifted and experienced artist. “Despite the fact that he sings gospel music, I had to convince him to be part of this project because he is a very good musician. Interestingly, it worked for us because people are receiving our music with great love and affection.”

On the other hand, Mbedzi said his combination with Matshikiri was in preparation for his gospel album that would be released next month (June).  “Many people have been asking about my whereabouts because I have not released an album for some years. I am now back and I will continue to give my fans the good music that they deserve. I’m very privileged to have worked with Matshikiri because we share the same passion for music.”
