Life Without Limitations by Sharon Mashaba.

Debut motivational book for Sharon Mashaba

Sharon Mashaba (24), who fell in love with writing at the age of 10, has now published her debut motivational book, titled Life Without Limitations.

The book is a true-life story about her own traumatic experiences and details how she managed to pull through. It further touches on issues such as the importance of mental health, how to deal with past traumas, depression, challenges in general and then advises the reader on how to become productive after conquering the hard times.

“I wrote the book because I wanted to share my experiences and also help others who have had the same experiences but do not know how to get through it,” she said.

“To me, literature simply means to pour my thoughts out onto paper and share my knowledge with the reader. To those who do not read: you are missing out on learning from other people. There’s a saying that goes: ‘I am because you are’, which simply implies that we need each other to grow. Reading is a source of knowledge and can make life easier for us. The more you read, the more you become enlightened.”

Mashaba is a resident at Malamulele. She wrote the book over a short space of time but had to wait six years for it to be published due to financial constraints.

She is available on Facebook and can be reached on Tel 083 294 5623.
