Popular musician Sledge Maro Mr Hustle, whose real name is Mushe Sengadi, has been releasing singles and EPs ever since he started making music. His fans have been asking for a full album, but up to know they had to wait patiently. The 24-year-old from Hamakhitha in the Kutama area has now made good on his promise.

Sledge Maro released his debut album Matudzi na Matula on Monday (12 August). The 14-track album comes on the heels of two EPs that were released in quick succession. On the new album, he worked with the likes of Rap Shukho, Cash Brown, Kwaito, Chi-Petro, Texbee, Lady L and Mr Voice. The new album boasts several very hot tracks that have already attracted the attention of his fans.

"This is a dream come true for me. I worked so hard to be where I am today, and I have always longed for a day where I would release a full album. I have been releasing singles and EPs, but with the hope of having an album in my name,” he said.

He added that the new album is basically about the challenges people are facing in life. “Life is full of challenges out there, and as artists we must sing about them and come out with solutions to those problems. Music should not only be for entertainment, but those who listen to it should also learn some tips of life,” he said.
