Mr Vhulenda Neluonde, one of the region’s most experienced actors, artist trainers, and beauty-contest promoters, has opened a new casting agency in Khubvi village. The agency, called Mr Voice Casting Agency, is named after his stage name, Mr Voice.
Neluonde is currently playing a cameo role in one of the most loved soap operas on national television, Muvhango.
During an interview over the past weekend, he mentioned that there was a demand for actors ranging from three years of age to senior pensioners. “There is a demand for actors who are over 60 at the moment. It is true that the future in acting lies with the youth, but there is also a need for people with experience in different fields of life,” he said.
When asked about his cameo role in Muvhango, he explained that he portrays one of the police officers who arrested Dr Nonhlanhla Ximba, a former medical doctor played by world-renowned actress Leleti Khumalo. Khumalo made international headlines for her lead role in the blockbuster political movie Sarafina.
Victor Mukwevho Ne-vumbani joined the Mirror during it's inception in 1990. He joined the SABC newsroom in 1995, and was known by listeners as "A u fhedzisela ari". He was a news editor for The Tembisan Newspaper from 2007 to 2015. He rejoined the Limpopo Mirror newspaper in June 2022 as a freelance journalist.

For the past two years, SABC radio presenter Humbulani Muphirimia Nengovhela has received SATMA nominations but has not won any awards. This year, he earned a nomination in the Best Traditional Music: SABC Radio Presenter of the Year category. This marks the 19th instalment of the SATMAs.

Just like good wine that mellows with time, local Afropop artist Ndinae Khodobo, better known as “Lady C” in entertainment circles, has come out strongly with the release of her latest album, Lofhela.
