Last Thursday night (28 February) was indeed a blessed night for Vendaboy Poet. On this particular night, the award-winning poet lifted three awards during the PanSALB Multilingualism Awards 2023-2024 ceremony held at the Durban International Convention Centre.

Multi-award-winning praise poet Masingita Shibambu, widely known as Ntombi Mutsonga from Matiyani village outside Malamulele, has been honoured with an award at the PanSALB Multilingualism Awards for her book “Xewani” in the language and literature category in Xitsonga. Elim Community FM, once a cherished radio station, made its return to the airwaves on Monday, 19 February, as an online broadcaster.
