Youths to benefit during business expo

Young people in and around Louis Trichardt are invited to a free-entry business expo, which will hosted this coming Saturday, 25 March.

The Youth Shine Business Expo will run between 07:30 until 17:00 at the Information Centre, situated next to N1 in Louis Trichardt (corner of Songozwi Street and the N1).

There will be a formal programme that will include the mayor for the Makhado Municipality, Cllr Shonisani Sinyosi, as keynote guest speaker. The admirable entertainer Jimmy Da Scratcher would serve as master of ceremonies.

The expo is organised and hosted by the VCC Music. They are an events management and music promotions company which have so far played a vital role in the promotion of music both locally and nationally.

“This leg of Youth Shine business Expo is a day-long event full of different activities which include exhibition and entertainment,” the representative of VCC Music, Mr Tshilidzi Bobodi, said. “The expo is devoted to the development of small and medium-sized enterprise in the show biz sector which includes music, fashion, food, fine art, film and photography.”

He added that the expo provides a platform for small companies to market themselves and interact with prominent business leaders and representatives from a number of corporate companies.

During the expo, the experts will share information with the youth on how to become successful entrepreneurs, business management, marketing and networking. “Most young business owners fail to make it in the industry not because of lack of energy and funds,” he said. Another addition to the expo is a children's entertainment which is more of children's stimulation playground.
