Bucs and Zamenkomste in 0-0 draw

The struggling Gogobole Bucs held Zamenkomste FC to a goalless draw in an MMK Administrators match at Gogobole on Saturday.

Zamenkomste took the game to Bucs from the first whistle, with their midfielders demonstrating a spirit of commitment by dishing out telling passes to the front-runners from time to time. They could have sealed the game within the first 10 minutes, but their strikers were not accurate in converting their obvious chances into goals.

Takalani Ndadza, the Bucs' left flank, had his chance in the 15th minute after receiving a brilliant pass from Maita Tshishonga. He shot aimlessly from close range and the ball went wide. The referee flashed the first yellow card in the 40th minute. Tsie Nndwambi of Bucs obstructed Ballo Musekwa and the referee was lenient enough to let him go with yellow.

Early in the second half, Bucs introduced Ricardo Ramovha and Sheriff Ramabulana respectively. Bucs' initial spirit of commitment faded and their back line started to leak. Zamenkomste had a taste of bad luck in the 86th minute when Musekwa shot into the hands of the keeper, Khongelani Baloyi, from the penalty spot.
