Madridtas and TTM in Vhembe derby

Tshifudi Stadium will be a good place for soccer lovers to be tomorrow afternoon. That is where the much-awaited ABC Motsepe League match between Madridtas FC and Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC (TTM) will take place.

The game will keep the spectators on the edge of their seats for many good reasons. Apart from the fact that sparks always fly in local derbies, both Madridtas and TTM have reason not to leave anything to chance in their preparations for the match.

Madridtas must win the match to keep their title hopes alive. They are in the seventh position on the log with 13 points, 7 behind the pace setters, Ndengeza FC. On the other hand, TTM must collect the maximum points in the match to strengthen their chances of escaping the relegation axe at the end of the season. The Tshakhuma side are currently languishing at the bottom of the log. They are still to win a league match in six outings.

The Madridtas’ combination of Lutendo “Viera” Mulaudzi, Ernot Dzaga and Gift Nemutandani is expected to give TTM’s defenders no time to rest. Madridtas are still fresh from a 3-2 victory over Mikhado at the Rabali Stadium last Saturday.

Mighty FC will undertake a journey to Boyne Young Tigers at the Boyne Stadium. Joe Maweja will be lucky if they manage to hold The Dolphins to a draw when they meet in Bochum. Molemole Academy will host Ditlou FC at the Polokwane Rugby Stadium, and Polokwane United will entertain Magezi FC at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

The Mopani derby between Giyani Hotspurs and Ndengeza FC will be staged at the Giyani Stadium. Ndengeza are the only side who are still to lose a league match so far. Baroka FC will play against Great North FC at the Seshego Stadium.

Mikhado FC will travel to Polokwane, where they will lock horns with the Polokwane Academy at the Polokwane Rugby Stadium.
