TTM and Mikhado in Vhembe derby

The much-awaited ABC Motsepe League match between Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) and Mikhado FC will take place at the Lesley Manyathela Stadium in Musina tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon.

While Mikhado will be fighting it with the aim of maintaining their position on the log, the situation will be far different for TTM.

The boys from Tshakhuma are one of the three sides who are fighting for survival. Although TTM are one of the relegation candidates, it will be a suicidal mistake for Mikhado to underestimate them. They have been collecting points at home and away after selling their franchise to Musina United early last month.

TTM must keep a watchful eye on the Mikhado playmakers, Nicolus Sitsei, Ndamulelo Mugadi and Mukovhe Maliaga.

Ablex FC, or Joe Maweja as they were formerly known, will entertain Giyani Hotspurs in Louis Trichardt. Ablex must win the match in order to use Hotspurs as their stepping stone to escape the relegation axe.

Baroka will host Polokwane Academy in their Polokwane derby at the Ngoana Mahube Stadium. Baroka lost 0-4 against Madridtas FC last Saturday. The other Polokwane derby will be between Mighty FC and Polokwane United at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium this afternoon, starting at 15:00. Polokwane United are one of the league title chasers.

Boyne Young Tigers will travel to Sekhukhune, where they will try their luck against Ditlou FC at the Jane Furse Stadium. Madridtas will travel to Giyani ,where they will play against Ndengeza FC. Molemole Academy and The Dolphins will meet at the Polokwane Rugby Field, while Great North FC and Magezi FC will meet at the TT Cholo Stadium in Polokwane.
