TTM players and officials rewarded

 

Players and officials of Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC (TTM) were rewarded for the outstanding performance they displayed in the past season during a ceremony last Sunday.

The event was held at the Porche Villa Hotel in Muledane.

Two players, Lesedi Kapinga and Aluwani “Killer” Nedzamba, received the King Toni Mpheni Ramabulana award. They each received R20 000. Apart from the King’s award, Kapinga was again presented with another cheque of R25 000 for being the players’ player.

The team’s sharpshooter, Themba Ndlovu, took home the top goal scorer’s award and received R20 000. The team’s most dedicated player, Tshepo Makgoga, also received R20 000. The team’s diminutive striker, Monde Mpambaniso, received the biggest cheque during the ceremony. He went home with R30 000 after being named the player of the season.

The most committed technical team member, Mr Ricardo Miriri, and the most passionate technical team member, Ms Wisani Nemaremelani, were presented with R5 000 each.

The team’s best supporters, Nditsheni Ravhura, Vhahangwele Madzivhandila, Moses Mashamba, Ntshengedzeni Nethavhakone, Lusani Muganga, Mutshutshu Nesea and Mboneni Sitholi were each presented with R1 000 cash awards. The best branches, Ngovhela, Thembisa and Tshakhuma, were presented with certificates.

During the ceremony, the mayor of Thulamela Local Municipality, Cllr Avhashoni Tshifhango, assured the local football lovers that the Thohoyandou Stadium will be ready to host the Premier Soccer League games when the activities for the new season start in two months. When delivering the keynote address, the club’s president, Mr Masala Mulaudzi, revealed that nothing will stop them from gaining promotion to the elite division next season.

He dismissed as hogwash the rumour that he was selling the club’s franchise. He further revealed that they were in the process of signing several foreign players in a bid to strengthen their current squad.

Mulaudzi further stated that Black Leopards had shown interest in some of their players.

Some of the dignitaries who attended the ceremony include Khosikhulu Vho-Toni Mpheni Ramabulana, Thovhele Vho-Nthumeni Masia and the chairman of Black Leopards FC, Mr David Thidiela.
