Another draw for TRON

When Tshakhuma RO Na Ndilani (TRON) drew 5-5 with Ndengeza FC in their ABC Motsepe League match at the Giyani Stadium two weeks ago, the team’s head coach, Mr Mashudu Ndou, confidently said that they had found a solution to the team’s scoring problems.

The opposite happened at the Tshisahulu Mmbengeni Kone grounds last Saturday when TRON failed to convert even one of the numerous scoring chances they created in their league game against Polokwane Academy.

The game ended in a goalless draw, much to the fans’ disappointment.

TRON realized that it was not their day when their playmaker, Oscar Ntsauba, caused an upset nine minutes into the game. He received a neat pass from Dakalo Nemakonde and unleashed aimlessly from the edge of the box.

TRON are now lying in the second-last position on the log, following the two successive draws. They have 8 points accumulated from 10 outings. Ollesdal FC are perched at the bottom of the log with 5 points. Ollesdal lost 2-3 to Mighty FC in Polokwane last Friday.

Mikhado FC moved to the second spot on the log, following their 2-0 victory over Baraccah Valley FC at the Rabali Stadium. Baraccah were leading the pack before their match against Mikhado.

Madridtas FC are now shining on top of the log with 20 points. This after they beat Pusela City 5-1. Ndengeza FC beat The Dolphins FC 3-1 at the Giyani Stadium.

Polokwane United are still in the race for promotion, even though they lost 0-2 to Magezi FC. Great North FC played to a goalless draw with Giyani Hotspurs. Hotspurs are still fighting for survival as they are now lying in the third position from the bottom of the log.
