TTM away to collect more points

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) will collect full points at the expense of Witbank Spurs at the Puma Rugby Stadium in Emalahleni tomorrow and enhance their chances to partake in the promotional playoffs at the end of the season. That is, if the words of the club’s marketing manager, Mr Livhuwani Madzuhe, are anything to go by.

According to Madzuhe, their target is to win five of their remaining six league matches and play to at least a draw in the last one. He revealed that the team’s newly appointed head coach, Mr Momcilo Medic, has found a winning combination. TTM won two league matches and lost one under the guidance of Medic. They beat Pretoria University 1-0 and Stellenbosch FC 3-2 and lost 1-2 to the title chasers, Mbombela United.

Asked about the team’s level of readiness for the game, Madzuhe stated that all the players were razor sharp. He further revealed that the team’s Zimbabwean skipper, Carlington Nyadombo, will be available for selection tomorrow. Nyadombo was out of action for two matches after seeing red in their home game against Pretoria University three weeks ago.

Real Kings will host Ajax Cape Town at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Durban. Royal Eagles will host Cape Umoya United at the Chartsworth Stadium in Durban. Ubuntu Cape Town will host TS Sporting at the Cape Town Stadium.

In the four matches that will be played on Sunday afternoon, TS Galaxy will entertain Mbombela United at the Kameelrivier Stadium in Siyabuswa, and he log leaders, Stellenbosch FC, will have a date with Pretoria University at the Cape Town Stadium, while the other Sunday fixtures are: Uthongathi FC vs Maccabi FC and Richards Bay FC vs Jomo Cosmos.
