Can Ajax stop Vhadau Vha Damani?

After playing their first three league matches at home, Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) will be on the road for the first time this weekend. They will fly to Cape Town where they will fight for GladAfrica Champions League points against Ajax Cape Town at the Cape Town Stadium on Sunday.

Whether The Urban Warriors will have enough strength to stop Vhadau Vha Damani remains to be seen. TTM are still to lose a league match to date. They are currently leading the pack after winning two of the three matches they had played to date and drew one.

Ajax are in the seventh position on the log with four points from four matches.

When asked about the team’s level of readiness for the match, TTM’s marketing manager, Mr Lucky Nelukau, said the boys were ready to shock Ajax. He said that all the players would be available for selection except the team’s sharpshooter, Thembisani Nevhulamba, who is still recovering from an ankle injury.

The likes of Phumelele Bhengu, Wonderboy Makhubu, Onyedikachi Ononogbu and Nhlanhla Mgaga will be expected to do the job in the absence of Nevhulamba.

The other fixtures for Sunday are: JDR Stars vs Mbombela United, TS Galaxy vs Richards Bay FC, Uthongathi FC vs Steenberg United, Swallows FC vs Royal Eagles, Real Kings vs Jomo Cosmos, Free State Stars vs TS Sporting and Cape Umoya United vs University of Pretoria.
