The semi-final and final matches of the Lumveleni Soccer Tournament will take place at the Ngudza Grounds on Sunday. The first semi-final between Tshikovha Arsenal and Matangari Settlers is scheduled to start at 09:30.

Teams affiliated with the Limpopo Stream of the ABC Motsepe League will play their last matches of their first-round league programme this weekend. Only two matches will be played on Friday afternoon, while the remaining fixtures are scheduled for Saturday.

After hosting Pretoria Callies in their Motsepe Foundation Championship League match at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Wednesday afternoon, Black Leopards will play another home match at the same venue when they meet Platinum City Rovers on Saturday afternoon. Local bare-knuckle fist-fighting champion Thuso “Ngwazi” Ramukakate proved to all and sundry that he is still one of the best traditional fist fighters around when he beat all his challengers during the Musangwe Traditional Fist Fighting Tournament held at the Lumveleni Sports Ground in Ngudza village on Saturday, 3 February.

After sharing the spoils with United Artists, with whom they played to a goalless draw in their ABC Motsepe League match at the Malamulele Stadium last Saturday, another uphill battle awaits Mpheni Defenders this Saturday. They will host the other league-title chasers, Maruleng Celtic, at the Mpheni Grounds.

The quarter-final matches of the Lumveleni Soccer Tournament will be played at the Ngudza Grounds outside Thohoyandou on Saturday. All eyes will be on the opening match between Manamani Blue Birds and Vondwe United Brothers, scheduled to start at 09:30.

After a break of about two months, the teams affiliated with the Motsepe Foundation Championship will resume their league programme next week. Five matches will be played on Tuesday, 13 February, while the remaining three are scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.

The 15^th edition of the Hollywoodbets Pre-Easter Cup 2024 will take place this weekend (10 and 11 February) at the Tshikota Masedi Sports Grounds.
