SABC Livhu finds new love

News  Date: 25 October 2024

Almost two years after comedian and murder accused Livhuwani Madadzhe, better known as SABC Livhu, lost his wife, he seems to have found new love. This past weekend, he posted pictures of himself and his 26-year-old girlfriend on social-media platforms.

Madadzhe’s wife, Ms Lindelani Nengovhela, died on 28 January last year. The body of Mia Muofhe, as she was popularly known, was found in a disused outside pit toilet next to the family home in Mangondi Sidou. Madadzhe was charged with her murder the same day and was later released on R50,000 bail, with conditions attached. He has been in and out of court, and his trial is set for January next year at the Thohoyandou High Court.

Livhu, who is also a businessman and influencer running a social-media channel under the name SABC Livhu, has not been active on social media for some time. Amid a barrage of social-media attacks, he decided to keep a low profile during his trial.

However, this past weekend, he raised eyebrows when he posted pictures of himself on Facebook with a petite female "friend." The pictures attracted widespread criticism, with many mocking both the female friend and Livhu, whose photos suggested they were lovebirds.

In an exclusive interview, Madadzhe confided to Limpopo Mirror that he was love-smitten and had found the love of his life. The new woman in the comedian's life is Ms Fhatuwani Nkhumeleni Maberegisi from Mbilwi, a 26-year-old manager at Melrose Arch Mall in Sandton.

When asked how they had met, Madadzhe said they had been destined for each other. “I am now based in Sandton, and it was a coincidence that in May, when I was back in court, I met her. While doing my shopping at Thavhani Mall, I met this beautiful woman, exchanged numbers, and we started meeting in Sandton, where she works. It was one thing after the other, and I can tell you we are deeply in love,” he said.

Madadzhe mentioned that the past weekend was one of the best periods he had experienced in a long time. The couple visited the Kruger National Park for a quick getaway. “We really enjoyed the outing, but our trip was overshadowed by the negative comments on social media. I have decided to keep quiet when people say negative things about me, because I do not have to change their mindset,” he said.

Madadzhe added that, while the insults continued, he had to mourn his wife quietly. “It is time for me to move on with my life. I know whatever I do, people will have something to say, and I cannot stop them. Life goes on. On 25 December 2024, there is going to be a big lobola celebration, and you are invited,” he said.
