The BP filling station in Rissik Street that was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money during a daring armed robbery this morning.

Makhado police are looking for a group of at least five suspects who robbed the BP filling station on Rissik Street, Louis Trichardt, this morning (27th).
According to the police the armed robbery took place just after 07:00, shortly after a security company arrived to collect the fillings station’s money. The suspects were apparent masked, while some posed as customers inside the Pick ‘n Pay Express on the premises.
The suspects made the gateway with an undisclosed amount of money in a white Hyundai hatchback in the direction of the N1. Unconfirmed reports indicated that the vehicles was found abandoned near the old dumping site. These rumours later prove to be untrue.
In the meantime, the police has appealed to the public for assistance that could lead to the robbers being brought to book.
