Makhadzi launches new DVD, Yo Shoma

Rita Dee Entertainment (RDE), an agency that promotes music throughout South Africa, launched Makhadzi's DVD a fortnight ago.

The DVD is entitled Yo Shoma, and it follows after the 2015 Makhadzi volume of the same title, which has since received massive acceptance by thousands of fans in the country.

Yo Shoma boasts 10 tracks, which are Ndi Malwa Kule, Volume, Thohoyandou, Khosi ai Dzheni, Ni Nga si Tsha Muwana, Ndi Zwavhudi Naa, Asi Uri Ndi Funa Vhanna, Mukula, Thank you amaSupporter, and Yo shoma.

“We are very excited about this project,” the director at RDE and Makhadzi's manager, Rita Dee, said. “We had raised a lot of money to enable us to produce a DVD of such high quality. We are very happy to notice that Makhadzi's fans are buying this DVD and placing more orders for friends.”

The 20-year-old singer, Ndivhudzannyi 'Makhadzi' Ralivhona, started singing professionally at the age of 15 in the streets of Elim and Louis Trichardt. She quickly gained fame and success, and soon she became the darling of music lovers countrywide. “I know people – young and old – love my music very much,” she said. “They also like how I dance. Many people have made me more aware of the important messages which my songs carries. They encourage me to do better every day.”

Makhadzi resides at Mashamba-Tshivhangani, where her community is proud of her.

“She is a rare talent; we are proud of her,” said a resident at Mashamba, Lufuno Mudau. “She has placed our area on the map. She has set a good example to many youths out there that it is possible for youths to achieve more if they set their eyes on greater things.”

Makhadzi's DVD is available from music stores. To book Makhadzi for a performance, call Rita Dee Entertainment on 082 066 6533.
