Aifheli Mafunisa, an upcoming hip-hop artist known by his stage name Nkhume Mafs from Ha Maila, has captivated fans with his latest song release, titled “Gimisa.” Since its debut on YouTube early last month, the song, intended as a teaser, has garnered significant attention and praise from his fans.

With “Gimisa,” Nkhume Mafs hints at what is to come with his upcoming EP, titled “Better Days,” scheduled for release later this year. “I took an eight-month break due to school-related work, so I created this song to reassure my fans that I am still preparing something special for them. I am grateful for the exceptional response the song is receiving each day, which indicates growth in my fan base,” he said.

Nkhume Mafs’s musical journey began six years ago, inspired by the renowned Venrap artist Mizo Phyll. He is committed to incorporating meaningful messages into his music to resonate with listeners of all ages. His latest song not only showcases his artistic growth but also his ability to connect through captivating beats and profound lyrics.

The promising young artist previously released an EP titled “Wakhanda,” comprising five tracks featuring local artists such as King Pee and Tommy, to mention a few.

“My biggest desire is to use my music as a tool for education and social change, particularly within disadvantaged communities. I also aspire to be a role model for other young people passionate about making music,” he said.
