Gospel singer Vhudele Cherish Tshivhase (28) from Thohoyandou Block M recently released a new song, titled Your Ways. The song, which was released last month, focuses on finding peace, healing, and guidance by aligning with God’s ways.

Vhudele Cherish grew up singing gospel music at the Christian Worship Centre and pursued a diverse academic path. Her latest song follows her first album, Shine Your Light, released in 2016. The track Your Ways encourages listeners to return to God, especially when life’s challenges become overwhelming.

“Many fans have shared how the song resonates with their personal experiences and has helped them reconnect with their faith. It’s been humbling to see how Your Ways has touched people’s hearts and reminded them of the power of trusting in God’s plan,” she said.

Besides being a singer, she has earned a BA in health sciences and social services in psychological counselling from the University of South Africa, a BA Honours in psychology from the University of the Western Cape, and a postgraduate certificate in education from the University of the Witwatersrand.

On Saturday, 24 August, she departed for Vietnam to work as an educational psychologist. She views this as an opportunity to step out of her comfort zone and immerse herself in a new culture, which she believes will enrich her professional and personal growth. “I’m eager to bring my skills and knowledge to a different educational environment and to learn from the people I will meet along the way,” she said.
