*NEW* 2012 Kremetart Cycling Stage Race 175km Gallery

The 175km stage race took place on 9 June 2012  in the Soutpansberg area. The strong wind made the going tough, knocking minutes off their pace, compared to previous years. Saturday’s strong wind did not, however, deter the top names and teams in South African cycling, with team Tasol GT putting in a strong performance to take three of the four stages in the senior men’s race. Tasol GT’s David Maree clinched the yellow jersey in the first 53km stage from Makhado to Waterpoort, as well as stage three that ended in Schoemansdal, clinching his overall win with a combined time of 04:23:48. The women’s race was a one-woman affair, with An-Li Pretorius from team MTN-Qhubeka snatching victory in all four stages from defending champion and Kremetart Brand Ambassador Anriette Schoeman. Pretorius was crowned overall women’s winner in a combined time of 05:20:39. Here are a gallery of pictures celebrating the event.
