P&O Feeds slagoffer van gewapende roof

Drie rowers, waarvan een gewapen was, het verlede Vrydag toegeslaan by ‘n besigheid in Louis Trichardt.

Werknemers van P&O Feeds in Burgerstraat, naby die Louis Trichardt spoorwegstasie, is omstreeks middagete deur die groep rowers oorval.

Volgens die Makhado Polisie het net een van die rowers ‘n vuurwapen by hom gehad. Dié rower het glo die kassiere gedreig en kontant geëis. “Die rowers kon daarin slaag om weg te kom met ‘n onbekende bedrag geld vanuit die kasregisters,” het die plaaslike polisie woordvoerder, konst. Irene Radzilane, Dinsdag gesê.

Geen skote is afgevuur tydens die roof nie. Die rowers het glo in ‘n ou model Toyota Corolla gespring en weggejaag van die winkel.

‘n Saak van besigheidsroof is geopen vir verdere ondersoek. Die Makahdo Polisie het ‘n beroep op die publiek gedoen om na vore te kom as hulle inligting het wat die polisie kan help om die drie verdagtes aan te keer. Die inligting kan gedeel word met kapt. Calvin Madula by tel. 072 467 4431.

Gerugte dat dié rowers moontlik ook verantwoordelik was vir die gewapende roof by Desai Cash & Carry in April kon nie deur die polisie bevestig of ontken word nie.
