Teams ready for Masungulo finals

The teams are ready for the June 16 Masungulo Soccer tournament's semifinals and final that will take place at Ha-Mashamba on Friday.

The programme of the day will start with a fun walk at 07:00, while the netball and volleyball finals will take place at 12:00.

In the first soccer match of the day, the Mashamba Soccer Academy will play against Masakona Bayen FC at 09:00. Kaizer United and Mulima will meet at 11:00 and the final will be played at 15:00.

The champions of the event will receive R10 000, a floating trophy and gold medals, while the second-placed team will receive R7 000 and silver medals. The team that will finish in third position will get R4 000 and bronze medals and the team in fourth position will receive R2 000.

The player of the tournament, top goal scorer, coach and referee of the tournament will each receive a trophy.

Kaizer Nengovhela

Kaizer Nengovhela started writing stories for Limpopo Mirror in 2000. Prior to that he had a five year stint at Phala-Phala FM as sports presenter. In 2005 Kaizer received an award from the province's premier as Best Sports Presenter. The same year he was also nominated as Best Sports Reporter by the Makhado Municipality. Kaizer was awarded the Mathatha Tsedu award in 2014.
