Sport  Date: 11 October 2024

This weekend marks the starting point of the league programme for the teams affiliated with the Limpopo Stream of the ABC Motsepe League. Three matches will be played on Friday afternoon, with the remaining nine scheduled for Saturday.

Munaca FC will start the new season with a home match against Vondwe XI Bullets at the Makhado Show Grounds on Saturday. Bullets will face a tough challenge if Munaca’s performance in their Nedbank Cup games is anything to go by. Bullets have assembled a solid squad this season and were recently crowned champions of the Mdledle Soccer Tournament at the Phiphidi Guvhukuvhu Grounds after beating Super Mighty Power 1-0 in the final.

Mpheni Defenders will take on Bellevue Winners Park at the Mpheni Grounds. The Defenders are in the right frame of mind after being crowned the Nedbank Cup provincial champions two weeks ago.

Musina United will host White Vultures at the Musina Old Mine Stadium. United Artists will travel to Nkowankowa Township in Tzaneen, where they will play against Nkowankowa Continentals at the Nkowankowa Stadium. Black Leopards will host Maruleng Celtic at the Polokwane Training Centre Grounds.

The other fixtures are as follows: Tlhotlhokwe Golden Syrup vs Tzaneen United, Ditlou FC vs The Dolphins FC, Mighty FC vs P&S Academy, Mohlabile United vs Mokopane PJ Stars, Eleven Fast Tigers vs Sun Rise FC, Lebash Football Academy vs Royal Pirates, and City Motors vs Tubatse United.
