Worship House break shackles through praise and worship

The mighty Worship House’s new live project is definitely worth listening to, and those who have been ardent fans of this musical group will agree that they have never disappointed since they started recording almost two decades ago.

When listening to the album, titled Worship House Project 18 Dziphathutshedzo, one can clearly see this group has matured over time. Their representative, Pastor Shemaya Makota, said that he was humbled to be a part of this great project. “This power-packed project and every song therein is tailor made by the Holy Spirit to minister to the totality of mankind,” he said.

The album comprises amazing songs such as Dziphathutshedzo, God Tshikhakharara, Tulula ugcobo, An answer to all (featuring Masana and Phathu), Dziphathutshedzo dzenedzi (featuring Newie), To your throne (featuring Tiyani), Uapfa murena (featuring Tiyani) and Hugala hothe (featuring Ngudo Praise).

Makota said that the group knew how to get people to break their shackles through praise and worship. “They sing powerful songs of joy, praise, worship, and happiness,” he said.

Worship House was formed in 2003 under the guidance and leadership of Bishop Isaac Dagada. Through the years, the group of singers has gone from strength to strength and defied the odds by being the first gospel group in South Africa to receive a commendation from the State of Alabama, USA, during their USA Tour in 2016.

The group had bagged music awards at the South African Traditional Music Awards (2004 and 2005), Metro FM (2015) and Crown Gospel Awards (2008-2012, 2014 and 2016).

The album is now available on all digital platforms, and hard copies and the DVD will be released soon. For more information, follow Worship House on Facebook (Worship house ZA), Twitter (@worshiphouseZA), and Instagram (@worshiphouseZA).
