Rudzani Shavhani, known as “B Boy,” is a talented Makhado FM presenter who is making waves in the industry. He presents the “Dziaswa” show on Friday and Saturday from 21:00 to 00:00, and on Sunday, he presents the RnB show from 09:00 to 12:00.

Shavhani was born and grew up in Shanzha. “I used to take part in debates at school, and books were my favourite possessions,” he added. He told Limpopo Mirror that he was very excited about the format of his radio shows.

“The Friday show deals with news from around the world. Our topics focus on issues that are beneficial to the community. Dziaswa is very important as it informs people about what is happening around them, and it is important to use a language they will easily understand.”

He said his listeners were very important to him, and he would always appreciate their continuous support. “What I like about the show is that it is friendly, and we interact with listeners,” he said, adding that one important thing he had discovered from radio journalism was that one must always be prepared to learn.

Shavhani said that he was initially drawn to creative writing to express his thoughts and perspectives, rather than expressing them openly. Radio, however, offered him a wider platform to express his ideas.
