Local writer Mashudu Mbulaheni of Shakadza has published a children’s book titled “Talifhani,” aimed at guiding children to reach their full potential.

Mbulaheni explained that he wrote the book after noticing a lack of local books focused on helping young people succeed. Topics covered in the book include maturity versus immaturity in children’s lives and tips on engaging in acts of kindness. The book also addresses the risks of sharing personal information on social media.

“After reading the book, young readers will gain a better understanding of themselves and be inspired to serve at various leadership levels,” Mbulaheni commented. He emphasised that the book also encourages parents to foster strong relationships with their children and motivates individuals to work hard.

Mbulaheni said that he had received positive feedback and warm messages from readers, who find the book both informative and enjoyable. “This positive reception aligns with my intentions, and I hope the book will eventually find its way into schools through the Department of Education,” he added.
