Teams invited to enter for Easter Top 16

 

The organisers of the Liguluvhe Easter Top 16 Tournament are inviting all teams who are affiliated with the local football association and Safa Vhembe to register.

The three-day tournament will be played from 29-31 March. The finals will be played at Ramantsha Skomboys grounds. The registration fee is R500 and can be paid at the Makhado Local Football Association’s office in Louis Trichardt. Alternatively, it can be paid directly into the association’s bank account.

The teams will be fighting for a first prize of R25,000 in cash, a new soccer kit, a floating trophy, and gold medals. The runners-up will receive R20,000, a soccer kit, and silver medals, while the team that ends in third position will receive R5,000 and bronze medals. Special awards for the player of the tournament, best coach, and top goal scorer will be given.

The PRO of the tournament, Mr Ronny Ramaligela, highlighted the importance of identifying future stars’ talents at grassroots level. He applauded the sponsors for helping to identify talent among the region’s youth and added that the youth of this region should be proud of their talent.
