Young Tigers and Tshifudi XI in KO final

HAMAKHUVHA – Gooldville Young Tigers and Tshifudi XI Experience will meet in the finals of the prestigious SK Newlook Electrics KO competition at the Hamakhuvha ground on Sunday.

A look at the history of the two teams in the competition reveals the fact that the game can go either way.

Young Tigers beat Makonde Cobra All Stars 4-1, Matangari High Aims 2-0 and Ngwenani Manchester United on their way to the finals. Tshifudi XI Experience's road to the finals went via Tshikonelo Highlanders whom they beat 2-1.

Their second match was against Duvhuledza Football Club who were thrashed 7-0. Vondwe United Brothers were beaten 1-0. Tshifudi XI Experience booked a place in the final stage of the competition by beating Makwarani Frelimo Boys 4-2 in the semi-finals last Sunday.

The fact that there is a lot at stake is a reason on its own for the people to expect to watch a thriller. The champions of the competition will receive a floating trophy apart from the R1500 cash prize. Teams participating in the finals will each receive a soccer kit for their achievement.

The big match will be presided by the one involving Ngwenani Manchester United and Makwarani Frelimo Boys. They will be fighting for the third position. This one will start at 13:00. The big match is scheduled for 15:00. The competition has been sponsored by the well known businessman, Mr Sydney Kharivhe of SK Newlook Electrics.
