Maindis Ladies wrap up a rather disastrous season

While most of the teams affiliated with the Hollywoodbets Super League are left with two matches before the end of the current soccer season, Maindis Ladies will play their last match this weekend. Maindis will wrap up their league programme with an away fixture. They will  visit TUT FC at the TUT Campus Stadium in Pretoria.

A look at the situation in which Maindis currently find themselves shows that no amount of motivation will make the team collect the maximum points at the expense of TUT FC on Sunday. Even if they manage to win the match by the biggest of margins, Maindis will still be relegated to the lower league. The Bungeni side were languishing at the bottom of the log for the better part of the season. Although they were playing on their own home turf, Maindis had lost 0-3 to University of Pretoria last Saturday.

The defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns, will play against Thunderbirds at the Loftus Stadium in Pretoria. Durban Ladies will fly to Cape Town. They will fight for league points with University of Western Cape Ladies (UWC) at the UWC Campus Stadium.

Coal City Wizards are waiting for City Lads at the Puma Rugby Stadium in Emalahleni. The match between TS Galaxy Queens and Copper Belts will be played at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit. The other fixtures are University of JHB vs JVW FC, University of Pretoria FC vs First Touch Academy and Royal AM vs Richmond United.
