Louis Trichardt's first rugby team’s winning streak in SA Rugby’s national Gold Cup series came to an end on Saturday, October 5, after a 70-6 defeat against the men of College Rovers in Durban. However, for the team, it remains a proud moment to have been able to participate in the Top-8 round of the series, and on Sunday, they received a hero's welcome from supporters upon their return.

Gondeni Big Cats were crowned the champions of the ABC Foundation Soccer Tournament at the Makonde Stadium last Sunday. They defeated Mashamba Soccer Academy 6-5 in the final to lift the trophy. Big Cats were presented with R50,000, a soccer kit, gold medals, and a floating trophy during a ceremony at the stadium after the game.

Madombidzha Try Again were crowned champions of the Heritage Soccer Challenge after defeating Gogobole Home Defenders 2-1 in the final played at the Tshiozwi Grounds on Sunday.
